Hard Working Bike, 04 February 2012
By Stav651 (Leeds)
I have been riding my Outback now for 3 months & it's performance & handling have been very good. The performance of the gears is good when you need to aggressively attack a hill on a road, the bike does take off like a whippet but try off road & the chain comes off. The only other fault is the central gear selector switch inbetween the pedals does sometimes rub on the chain from bad positioning causing the gears to click on the rear cogs. Hopefully a minor adjustment to fix. A previous comment noted the water bottle attachment does wear out the bottle holder. The pedals are now scratched up from off road but this is fair ware & tear & adds to the overall look of a working bike. This bike has had some serious work over Otley Chevin, Meanwood Valley Trail & the Leeds end of the Leeds & Liverpool Canel. Overall a sound & sturdy bike I would recommend to anybody.

Excellent Value, 05 September 2011
By RoRo (Bristol)
I purchased this bike in a recent sale and got it for under £200. It has a great spec for the price and represents excellent VFM. My son has put it through vigarous rides with the bike performing well on all occasions. One minor irritation is the end cap has come out of one side of the handle bar.

Great Entry Level MTB, 25 July 2011
I have owned this bike now for 3 months and find its ideal for on road or trail use. The Frames light, the brakes, gears chainset etc... are all still working brilliantly. For the budget I had this was the highest spec bike I could afford from ANY bike retailer. Go outdoor staff were very helpful. I would recommend this bike and this retailers again
