Scott Genius MC-40 2008 Bike:
The name speaks for itself, these bikes combine
lightweight
and a
‘smart’ damping system
.
The rear shock is easily operated by a remote handlebar mounted lever, lockout for smooth trails and tarmac,
‘traction’ setting
with
80mm travel
for loose climbing and singletrack whilst the ‘all-mountain’ setting with
130mm of travel
irons out the bumps on high speed descents.
Up front a
Rock Shox Recon 351 fork
with adjustable travel and lockout balances the bike perfectly.
