An interactive 3-in-1 jacket offering year round protection from the elements.
It's back and looking better than ever! Waterproof and interactive, the Craghoppers Kiwi 3-in-1 Men's Jacket
has great versatility that makes it perfect when the weather just won't make up its mind.
Team the fleece and the hardshell together for cold, wet and windy conditions, slip off the hardshell to just get the benefit of fleecey warmth, or throw the hardshell on alone when the weather is muggy but wet.
Ideal for anyone who lives in an unpredictable climate (that will be us in the UK then!), the Kiwi 3 in 1 jacket ensures you get the right layers when you need them the most so you don't become uncomfortably hot, cold, or wet.
The interactive midweight fleece is easily zipped in when it gets cold to offer great comfort and insulation, and also works great on its own as a chunky summer fleece for those cooler evenings.
The hardshell jacket benefits from AquaDry technology allowing for great breathability and waterproofing, whilst multiple pockets throughout allow you to carry all the essentials you need for a day in the hills.
The zip-off hood means you can adapt to the conditions when necessary, while the brushed inner collar and chin guard allow a little extra comfort when on the move. Also, both the jacket and fleece have adjustable hem and cuffs allowing you to customise the fit to your needs.
For a do it all jacket that doesn't make you choose between staying warm, or dry, the Kiwi 3 in 1 is the perfect investment this season.

An overall great performer!, 13 November 2015
By G-DKN (Lancashire, North, UK)
I have now had the Kiwi 3-in-1 jacket for the best part of a year. And it's been great! The jacket after a year and continuous use, I'm happy to say, is still waterproof.
No leaking in through the fabric although damp in certain areas like outer pockets, cuff/wrist area. So if all hell breaks loose out there, for me anyway..
I've been gratefully snug and dry although, may I add, the pockets seem to take a battering in the rain especially the outer most placed pockets but on first glance; there doesn't seem to be any sort of decent waterproofing in place in the outer most pockets so I'm guessing that could be why my front pockets are always leaky.
So I advise never to store any money or paperwork, wageslips, marriage certificates etc in those pockets unless you like a big ball of mushy paper mache when your emptying your jacket at the end of the day.
Light rain - No sweat! Will keep you dry no problem
Moderate rain - Still doing fine, nothing to report here..
Heavy rain - Pockets begin to dampen, slight puddles in said front pockets only, rest of inside of jacket is dry. Warmth is great, breathability I would say is 50/50, this jacket provides ventilation but the ventilation could be better.
Light/Moderate wind: No problem
Heavy rain+wind+elements: Well, I've been out in torrential downpour exceeding 5 hours, sometimes stood/sat still so another great test; getting drenched in one spot continuously, needless to say; this jacket passed in this area with flying colours! I live in an area that is usually flooded in some parts come late autumn early winter and this jacket has kept the rain out, kept me warm and dry with very little to moan about!
MY PERSONAL VERDICT AFTER A YEAR:
An excellent product. Designed and manufactured to high standards. All zips are still fully functional. No leaking through zips. No leaking internally into core shell of jacket. Well insulated when worn in tandem with the fleece which comes with this jacket. Fleece also ideal for deloading and walking light with plenty of ventilation when worn singely. Hood is designed to be fastened around the size of your head and upper body so moulds perfectly to your shape and stature. Would definitely buy this product again. For the price you pay - you simply CANNOT fault this jacket. It has given and given and given time after time. Have only waterproofed it 5 times in 1 year and that is after numerous runnings with heavy weather conditions.
- Front pockets do frequently leak and subsequently will and have in my experience destroyed valuable paperwork
- Sizing is a little off. Some parts of product are clearly large as I had requested the jacket size to be although some parts are abnormally proportioned like the forearms and shoulder area which doesn't seem to fit the overall size of the product.
- Some fraying around the inside netting and inner layers
- As mentioned above, leaky unreliable front outer most pockets. Simply unusable in heavy weather conditions. Had to use inner most pockets to keep things dry.
Get this jacket if you want a cheap entry level reliable waterproof solution for backpacking, weekend adventures or even expeditions. This coat does it all and all for an amazing friendly price. Couldn't ask for more.
Brilliant product! 4/5!
Always served me well, 15 September 2015
I bought this jacket in December 2014 as I was getting into mountaineering.
For an entry level jacket, at the price paid, I think the jacket is incredible. Been up many a mountain in England, Wales & Scotland whilst wearing it, in some terrible conditions, and it's ALWAYS kept me dry.
Fair enough the ventilation isn't great, and the hood isn't helmet compatible, but you get what you pay for - a waterproof jacket.
Because of how good the jacket is i've since bought further products by Craghoppers and I think for the price you pay they are brilliant!
I would recommend this jacket to anyone :)
Not waterproof, 14 August 2015

Just worn the coat for the first time. Ideal test conditions as it was raining constantly. Took the dogs for a walk for about 30 mins and noticed the water beaded and ran off most of the surface of the coat, however there were several areas where the water didn't bead.checked the inside when I got home and right in the middle of the back was a wet patch. Other than that it was comfy enough and warm. Don't buy if you have arms like Popeyes as the forearms are a snug fit.
Tis a pity., 28 June 2015

Great fitting jacket, nice and long, enough pockets for me , nice high collar and great hood. Tis a pity it's not waterproof. Wore it for a couple of hours walking in Scotland and it just soaked straight through, wore it again for about 20 minutes whilst taking the tent down in moderately light rain and it came through again.
It will be going back to the shop.

Great jacket. Very warm in cold conditions. Recently went walking in -2 weather and didn't feel the cold at all. No cons at all
