This 'Peak District Climbing' guidebook features over 850 of the Peak District's best routes and boulder problems.

Over 400 of the best routes from Mod to HVS are included, together with suggestions for good E1s to try. The Peak's best gritstone and limestone crags are covered, including Stanage, Froggatt, The Roaches, Stoney Middleton and Wildcat.

Also featured in 'Peak Distriict Climbing' are the mid-grade sport climbing venues of Horseshoe Quarry and Harpur Hill Quarry - over 50 of the best routes from F5 to F6c+.

350 of the Peak's best gritstone boulder problems up to Font 7a are also included for the keen boulderer.

The book also includes friendly and informative advice on climbing techniques, sport climbing, multi-pitch climbing and, of course, the obligatory ticklists.

'Peak District Climbing' is illustrated with clear and easy-to-use photo topos and maps, together with stunning action photography from the country's best rock climbing photographers, including Ian Parnell, Alex Messenger, Pete O'Donovan, David Simmonite, Adam Long, Keith Sharples and Mike Robertson.

Peak District Climbing, 01 November 2011
By TDan (Derby)
This is not a particularly great guide to the Peak District as it only covers a small selection of routes at the more poular venues. If you rarely visit the Peak District to climb, then this book will give you a fairly general overview of what's available, but there is far too much omitted to be of much use to the regular Peak District climber.
There are far better guidebooks available for a similar price such as Eastern Grit.
