Coleman instant tourer, 29 September 2014
By Organman (derbyshire)
Assembly time of 1 minute is ambitious but otherwise a splendidly easy to use tent, long years since I was last under canvas but this tent makes everything easy. top class

Brilliant, 30 June 2014
By Viclip180
Went camping first time at weekend. So nice and easy to put up especially for me with having learning difficulties I would have struggled to put up a tent that I had to feed poles through. rained all through the night, and on and off during the day but tent stayed dry inside. nice and spacious could fully stand in the tent. could have slept two comfortably with gear.

I bought the coleman tent carpet, and had that inside which made it easier when it came to packing away, as all had to do was remove carpet and shake off the grass and the groundsheet inside was clear of grass.

All in all brilliant tent, I'll have to look into going camping again with someone

Nearly Excellent, 22 June 2014
By wiggy25 (Lincolnshire)
I bought the first one and after testing it in the back garden after some drizzle found the seam between groundsheet and side walls all the way round had sucked the rain in and was dripping on to ground sheet!
This seam isn't sealed or taped!!!
I asked the question from Coleman but no reply.
Returned it and got another this time I seam sealed the seam all the way round, shouldn't need to on a new tent but it's just ideal for quick weekends away.
The are two of us and the dog using large SIMs which fit very nicely.
There is a lot of condensation but in most polyester/pu coated tents this is going to happen unless there is lots of ventilation.
For a very easy to pitch/strike tent it's excellent.
Just a shame Coleman didn't put a two way zip on the door so it could be opened from the top and left open at night for more ventilation.
The back window is OK but if it's raining can't be used as rain will get through the mesh.

We use ours with a Tarp so it creates a front porch over the door so we have somewhere to sit and cook. It also stops rain getting in when opening the door.
The new instant DOME 5 has been released but seems to be out of stock everywhere and that has a matching front porch/awning!
It's also slightly bigger.

Overall I would recommend this for a weekend tent, in not too bad weather.
If the weather turns you ideally need a tarp over the front.

Excellent...BUT, 17 June 2014
By Gower
It does what it says on the Tin and I managed to put it up and take it down again on my own in approx 3 mins.....Downside...There is some condensation which you would expect as there is no inner tent and the door is on a slant so water will drip in when you are entering the tent after a shower...I would suggest this tent is only used in extremely dry and warm conditions or for the odd night here and there...There were 2 of us sleeping on comfortable air beds..NO WAY will it fit 4...unless you use narrow camping mats and leave all clothes and other camping gear in the Car....Would run out and buy the larger model...Coleman 6 / 8 or 10 if they were available in the UK....They dont seem to be at the moment...
