Coleman Dual Fuel 2 Burner Stove:
A compact family sized stove that folds into a self-contained carry case.
The two fully adjustable burners provide
21,000 BTUs of heat - enough to rival a domestic gas stove, which means it can boil
1 litre of water in less than
4 minutes.
The sturdy embossed steel construction provides maximum strength and
durability, as well as safe storage when not in use.
The stove is also
incredibly stable, and has plenty of spaceon the burner surface for even large pans - the cooking experienceis therefore far more relaxed, efficient and enjoyable than itnormally is whilst camping.
The stove can be run off either unleaded petrol or specialised
Coleman fuel, which is designed to maximise the life and efficiency its components. Once assembled, the lid of the carry case becomes an adjustable windshield.

What a purchase, 15 July 2011

I have now purchased 2 of these items and I am so impressed with how they can run on both Coleman fuel and normal unleaded.
If you want the dearer fuel then obviously you go with the coleman fuel but it is so easy to just chuck a couple of litres in a jerry can and away you go.
It does not get affected by the wind and the flame height/strength is so easy to control.
This item is a must for any camper.
Very Impressed.
Cheapest to run cooker ever, 15 March 2011

I have had 2 of these over the last 15 years the second one only recently bought. Its cheap to run as it uses either coleman fuel or petrol and this lasts alot longer than gas does. very controllable heat and doesnt blow out in the wind. Also no problems when its cold unlike gas which wont burn well in cold temps. excellent for festivals as gas cookers are not allowed a a rule.

Good but flawed, 29 September 2010

Having used (and still using) a Peak 1 for 20 years, it was a natural choice to gravitate to this stove to cater for my 5 kids whilst camping out of the back of our Land Rover, but despite reading reviews, I just wish that I had known that whilst there are two burners on this stove, they are not independent; The left burner will only work if the right one is alight, and that adjusting one requires a consequent adjustment to the other. Well constructed in the traditional Coleman fashion, but irritating nonetheless. Excellent heat output of liquid fuel scores over bulky gas canisters. I use Aspen 4. (Google it) It's cheaper and cleaner than Coleman Fuel. Use unleaded as a last resort. Pros: Good heat output, Bombproof, 'Vintage' expedition feel, solidly reliable. Cons: Too narrow, and irritating lack of 'fine' control when both burners running.
