Value, Style and Practicality, 20 July 2011

Now having bought one pair of these in long size I'm thoroughly delighted with the quality, styling and comfort and fit. They are ideal for someone like me who wanted them both for outdoor activities and as a stylish pair of trousers that look great when worn on a night out.
I'll be placing another order for more pairs very soon!

Used for backpacking, rambling, and fell-walking. Quick-drying, warm, comfortable and with a leg pocket that actually takes an OS map and closes! Zipped pockets take car keys and wallet comfortably.
Minor niggles - sizing and fit is quite baggy, the elasticated phone pocket inside the cargo pocket won't give you back your phone in a hurry and the Craghoppers belt buckle is not that secure and rather flimsy, especially under a rucksack hip-belt.
Inspite of that, I liked 'em so much I bought a second (zip-off) pair.

Even better!, 01 June 2011

I have four pairs of these and can't fault them, although on the pair I bought recently they have changed the belt fastener. This is improvement and now the belt doesn't work loose sometimes like the previous ones. There also seems to be an improvement in the hem finiishing with a reinforcement strip on the heel, a good idea when wearing walking boots.
Worth every penny in my opinion, especially at the price I paid at 'Go'!
