Coleman lamp, 06 July 2016
By Daz2808 (Wigan)
A fantastic lamp, really good light and heat from it. I've not been camping in 7 years and the lamp had been in my shed. The box had rotted as the shed is damp however after replacing the mantle it lit first time.
Great little lantern, 27 September 2015

A fabulous little lantern, gives out plenty of heat and light. It's a joy to use and when run on Aspen 4 fuel you get no nasty petrol smells as Aspen is virtually odourless.
Husband's new toy, 05 May 2015
My other half bought this after a lot of research and is really pleased with it, having given up on a battery powered lantern. We haven't used it camping yet, but tried it in the garden and it gave off plenty of light, and a fair amount of heat as well.

Reliable old friend, 13 March 2013

Had the Coleman now for at least 4 years. During which its been dropped, drowned, squashed and whatever else I could throw at it. Never, ever has it failed me. The only time it failed, was when I failed it, and didn't have a spare mantle (lesson learned the hard way). Sure, you have to pump, adjust, and watch carefully during the lighting process, but that makes it feel like a truly authentic camping experience in my opinion. Once lit, you have a warm friend for the night. Completely adjustable levels of lighting, from a subtle glow to a brilliant, even beam which will keep the biggest of family tents well illuminated for the night. If used sensibly, the fuel will last several camping trips, and even with today's price of petrol, I reckon you've got 6 or more well-lit nights. And some nice heat off it too (but make sure you've got it well ventilated of course). I don't like LED, never have. It's too false, and feels cold. And for that reason, I'll keep using my Coleman duel-fuel Lantern.
