Camping Gaz Refill, 30 September 2014

As others have noted it is expensive for the amount of gas you actually get. However it is a handy size for our camping holiday. I do NOT want to be lugging a13Kg can around! What did surprise me was just how hard it was to get hold of one. None of the other usual places in/around Poole had them, so well done Go Outdoors, literally saved my bacon (and eggs!)

Bought a gas refill in Derby to take to Cornwall. On the 2nd day it ran out after only cooking breakfast and had to go to a local stockist in Newquay for a replacement (which was very heavy compared to the one we were sold in Derby). Back home we complained and to give credit to go outdoors we were told to take the cylinder back and go outdoors for a full refund. We havent yet tho as its obviously full now! So due to the good response Ive given it a 2 rather than a 1.

It would be handy if the carry plug was magnetic so that it could stick to the cylinder when not needed.
