A superb ladies version of Calibre's award-winning full-suspension mountain bike, designed and built specifically for women - available exclusively at GO Outdoors.
MBR's Bike of the Year 2015
attracted praise from both newcomers and experienced riders alike, and building on this Calibre have produced the equally impressive Calibre Bossnut Ladies
. Built around the original geometry, with the addition of women's specific components and suspension tuning
, it still gives the same confidence-inspiring stability whilst being able to respond sharply to aggressive riding.
bike will help you conquer those rough, steeper terrains that a hardtail simply can't handle, giving you plenty of scope for future upgrading as your riding progresses.
It has a double-butted aluminium frame
with a smooth-welded front triangle
and a single pivot swing arm designed around 130mm travel platform
, giving an ideal amount of suspension for all-round trail riding.
The RockShox Sektor Silver Solo Air fork
and the Monarch R rear shock
, now with a specific set up to offer plush air-sprung suspension with rebound adjustment
, the front fork being lockout-equipped for efficient pedaling when suspension isn't required. The rear shock maintains traction over rough ground, giving you greater control of your bike and letting you power through terrain that would previously have you grabbing your brakes.
The full Shimano Deore 2x10 groupset
includes a clutch-equipped Shadow+ rear mech for improved chain retention
, rugged enough to take serious trail abuse whilst still providing precise, efficient performance. The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes
, and their integrated I-spec lever design, bolts together with the gear levers for a tidy, easy-to-use cockpit. The crank lengths have been shortened to a women's appropriate length
Deore hubs and tubeless-ready WTB ST i23 rims
continue the upgrading theme, allowing you to make the move to tubeless tyres with a minimum of fuss. The WTB Vigilante
sits on the front wheel to provide extra control and grip while cornering, while the Bee Line's
lower tread keeps the rear wheel rolling fast.
provide their famous high-quality aluminium components for the seatpost, stem and handlebars now with narrower grips for women's hands
and women's specific bar widths
. Upgraded for the female rider with WTB Speed She saddle for increased comfort

Fantastic bike- okay price, 09 April 2017
By JMW (USA)
The Bossnut bike itself is a terrific mountain bike designed with a few women specific components. Really good design for entry full-suspension and a great price-unless you're shipping to the US. Go Outdoors doesn't include in the price a more than 15% shipping and duties price before you get it. Takes the bike from being a fantastic deal to just a good one.
Brilliant full suss MTB, 06 April 2017
By Gems (Cannock)
Amazing investment for my first full suspension MTB, my knowledge is not great on bikes but my husband who has 3 ridiculously expensive mountain bikes is slightly in love with this bike too! Definitely worth the investment if you are looking to upgrade from a hardtail like me or just looking for your first full suss MTB for a reasonable price.
I've been over my local MTB trail now 3 times and every time I come back more impressed and with more personal bests!
Calibre Bossnut Ladies, 05 December 2016

I really love this bike.
I'm fairly new to Mountain Biking - previously I've ridden hire bikes and borowed bikes, I'm so pleased to now own one of these bikes.
I have riden the Calibre Bossnut at Llandegla and Coed Y Brenin trail centres in North Wales plus a couple of other local trail centres.
I had so much fun and I'm now hooked!
I've had a lots of compliments about the Bossnut as it looks really nice.
A lot of thought has gone into the bossnut, the design and build quality is fantastic, you get a lot of bike for the price, it's great value for money .
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Ladies Calibre Bossnut, 28 November 2016

I first saw a picture of the bike on the internet and the men's version had received lots of good press. I liked the look of it and when I picked it up, it definitely did not disappoint.
I did a lot of research comparing the spec to other similar bikes and for the money it is probably the best spec women's bike you can buy.
A few things worth noting are the rockshox sektor forks equipped with motion control damping which is new for this year. This gives much better damping and control. The rear derailleur also has a clutch switch which is useful for technical downhill trails. The rims also come equipped with tubeless rim tapes already in place.
The paint job is really distinctive yet under stated (not too much pink). The component colours have been tastefully matched giving it a high end look.
I rode it for the first time at the weekend and immediately felt at home on it. It felt smooth and controlled straight away. The gear change, brakes etc all worked great as you would expect for this level of components.
We did change a few items which are more suitable for me i.e: bars, seat and stem from my previous full suspension bike, but this is purely a personal choice and has no reflection on the original components.
Although it is early days, I really think this bike is going to help me to improve my riding and am confident that I made the right choice.
I have been riding for 3 years and mainly ride Trail Park Centre's at blue, red, and occasionally the odd black graded trail.
