Calibre's award-winning full-suspension mountain bike, available exclusively at GO Outdoors.

Just awarded MBR's Bike of the Year 2015, the Calibre Bossnut has been designed for both newcomers and experienced riders, with geometry that's tuned for confidence-inspiring stability and able to respond sharply to aggressive riding.

This full-suspension bike will help you conquer those rough, steeper terrains that a hardtail simply can't handle, giving you plenty of scope for future upgrading as your riding progresses.

It has a double-butted aluminium frame with a smooth-welded front triangle and a single pivot swing arm designed around 130mm travel platform, giving an ideal amount of suspension for all-round trail riding.

The RockShox Sektor Silver Solo Air fork and the Monarch R rear shock offer plush air-sprung suspension with rebound adjustment, the front fork being lockout-equipped for efficient pedaling when suspension isn't required. The rear shock maintains traction over rough ground, giving you greater control of your bike and letting you power through terrain that would previously have you grabbing your brakes.

The full Shimano Deore 2x10 groupset includes a clutch-equipped Shadow+ rear mech for improved chain retention, rugged enough to take serious trail abuse whilst still providing precise, efficient performance. The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, and their integrated I-spec lever design, bolts together with the gear levers for a tidy, easy-to-use cockpit.

Deore hubs and tubeless-ready WTB ST i23 rims continue the upgrading theme, allowing you to make the move to tubeless tyres with a minimum of fuss. The WTB Vigilante sits on the front wheel to provide extra control and grip while cornering, while the Bee Line's lower tread keeps the rear wheel rolling fast.

Ritchey provide their famous high-quality aluminium components for the seatpost, stem and handlebars with their Trail Rizer bars right on trend for the modern trail rider at a 760mm width.

Soooo much better than it's specs!, 04 October 2016
By Fred (Örebro, Sweden)
Found this bike through Mbrs Mtb of the year award last year. I've been riding hardtails (and fully stiff ones, of course) since the early 90's.
Had a Specialized Enduro in the early 2000's. That bike was wonderful downhill, but a mess going uphill.
After borrowing a 2015 Specialized Enduro from a friend, who was injured for a few weeks this summer, I decided I needed to reconsider full suspension bike again.
The Calibre isnt as agile uphill as the Enduro, but it is damn close, considering the price difference!
The only real con was that the delivery was made through DHL. That is almost always a problem and this time was no different. Not only the package was full of holes, they claimed to have been to my house to deliver it, without getting an answer on the door. I was working from home and I live on a small small road, so noone will pass without notice. Especially not a huge yellow truck!

Excellent Bike. Excellent Service., 15 September 2016
By TC (Gloucester)
Bought this bike instore in Gloucester. At 6'2", I assumed the 21.5" would be best but after trying both, I went for the 19.5" and am very happy with it. couple of teething problems with the setup were sorted at the free 6-week check.
I fitted self-sealing tubes as I didn't want to risk tubeless. The problems getting the tyres off that everyone mentions meant it took me an hour or so to do the front. But having learned the best way, the rear took no longer than any other tyres. The key is to push the bead from its channel into the centre of the rim before trying to get the tyre off.
The Go Outdoors military discount knocked more off the bike so I was happy to splash a bit of cash on a couple of upgrades - SPD pedals and a Reverb dropper post. I've now got an awesome bike with all the upgrades for a decent total.

Front fork lower yoke clearance, 14 September 2016
By Kav (Salisbury Plain)
Update to my earlier review...

Don't get me wrong, I still love this bike but a ride out in some particularly sticky mud over the weekend drew my attention to the minimal clearance between the front fork lower yoke and the tyre - you can't get a cigarette paper between the two of them. I soon came to a grinding halt and I didn't buy a bike to carry it.

So, what's to do? Change to a thinner front tyre I guess. Anybody else had this problem?

Calibre Bossnut, 10 September 2016
By Liljeroos (Sweden)
I'm very pleased so far with my purchase. The delivery to me in Sweden was on time though DHL managed to wreck the package. So the front wheel had been a bit skewed but GO told me just to take it to a local repair shop and GO would pay my for my expenses.

The customer support are very informative and helpful, though they tend to be very slow on email so give them a call.

The bike seems like really great value for the money.
I had to switch the break lever positions because we have the rear brake on the right side on the handlebar here in Sweden. It cost me about 30£.

Great bike shipped right to my front door, 05 September 2016
By stromster (Cantton GA. USA)
From the reviews I knew this was a great bike but I was a little worried spending that money and having it shipped across the pond. Go Outdoors has done a wonderful job bringing this bike to market and made the process completely painless to have it shipped to the US.
