Info
The
Original Buff is a very versatile multifunctional tubular accessory, that's ideal for many activities.
It will keep you warm in the cold, or
wick moisture and keep you cool in warmer weather.
The Buff's microfibre construction makes it
wind-resistant, and it can be layered over itself many times to give you a covering layer that's as thick as you want it to be.
It's
seamless, so very comfortable whichever way you wear it.
You have many, many choices of how to wear a Buff - for example, as a neckerchief, headband, wristband, mask, hairband, balaclava, scarf, scrunchie, saharaine, pirate cap, beanie, a bandana.... or any other way you can think of!
A Buff is colour fast, and
won't fade. They are
machine-washable, and don't need ironing. They'll also
never lose elasticity - headwear for all occasions, that will last and last.

Very lightweight but very useful, 11 May 2011

I have two Buff Originals and I've used them for a few years.
They offer a very lightweight but very effective way to regulate your body heat. Put one on and you soon warm up (especially useful at night if you've taken that lighter sleeping bag and it's a touch colder than you thought). Conversely if you start to overheat just take off your Buff and you'll soon start to cool.
If you're a backpacker: all that for just 36g. Team with a light woolly hat for maximum effectiveness.

After buying my first Buff i think its an excellent piece of kit. I carry it pretty much everywhere as it folds down to a small square. Although the material isn't think it keeps out the nip of bitter winds! Although there are many ways to wear this piece, i tend to just stick it round my neck and pull it over my nose when the wind picks up, but it beats carrying a scarf
