Features
A proven bestseller. This lightweight boot is ideal for hill walking and rambling, but not mountain walking.
The
Brasher Hillmaster Womens GTX Walking Boots are hardwearing, lightweight and
comfortable three-season hill-walking boots specifically designed for a female foot.
The Hillmaster, as the name suggests, is a boot most suited for walking up the worst of climbs. This shoe will keep you going through thick and thin with the water resistant yet breathable GORE-Tex membrane.
The EVAlution anti-clogging outsole means that mud won't clump to your boot and get heavy. A great little feature if you're going to be walking in wet conditions.
The female fit has been crafted with a narrower last to fit perfectly to smaller feet, a blessing as this will reduce rubbing and abrasion compared to unisex shoes.
The style has been kept the same for years since it's first incarnation - the reason is obvious, the Hillmaster is the king of the hills.

"A nice pair of boots", 25 February 2010
By Mountain Goat
I bought these for my partner who told me that they gave her a greater sense of security on the hills than her previous pair of 3-season boots. She was also pleased with the minimal requirement to break them in which was aided by the low cut ankle padding. In her usual understated manner she gave them an overall rating of "a nice pair of boots"
Brasher Boots, 16 February 2010

I've had mine for over six years and looking to replace - with a new pair.
This was the first footwear I never had to break in, Goretex means definite waterproof, especially with stitched in tongue, sole very good on different terrain, comfortable all round boot. Very good ankle protection which is very important on rough ground. Also a good looking classic design.

Best boots ever, 31 January 2010
By Sandebeach (Wigan)
Bought these boots approximately 12 months ago having always bought cheap end boots. I have walked in various conditions of slutch, wet, snow and ice and have always had excellent grip. Stood in deep puddles and not a bit of water has touched my socks making the walking a fantastic pleasure. Despite putting them through their paces they have always come up clean with nikwax and look like new, ready to walk to the pub or shops. Even when they were new these were he comfiest boots ever. Will certainly recommend Brasher.
