Rat Race Mighty Deerstalker

Date: 11th March 2017
Location: Innerleithen, Scotland
Type of Event: Night time obstacle race
Skill Level: Expert

Description: The UK’s biggest night race takes place at Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders with entrants attempting to tackle the various obstacles including rivers, forests and mountains. Taking place in the dead of night the forest comes alive with participants attempting to reach the end of the course that spans an estimated 14 kilometres, with a well-deserved beer and bacon roll at the end for those able to complete the circuit.

The Royal British Legion Major North

Description: A muddy obstacle course with soldiers spread all around shouting at you to push yourself to the very limit – what’s not to love about the Major Series? The Lakeland 100

The Royal Marines Commando Challenge

Description: The first round of Mini Mountain Marathon has already kicked off but it isn’t too late to sign up for round 2. Each marathon is a 4 hour event and the idea is to visit as many control points as possible within the time limit. There are control points which all provide a score and the further the control point, the higher the score. This is a great challenge for anyone who enjoys fell running with the added complexity of navigating a map.
