A warm, waterproof and lightweight jacket for active comfort in cold wet weather.
The Berghaus Vinson Jacket
has a durable ripstop outer with AQ™2 waterproofing for wet weather protection, backed with zoned AT™ Fibrefill for added warmth where you need it most.
This synthetic insulation is more concentrated in the body and thinner in the sleeves and hood, designed to keep you warm without excess bulk or overheating on uphill climbs. The hood is fixed with a peak to improve poor-weather visibility while the hem and cuffs are adjustable to give an accurate fit.
Two external zipped pockets and the internal map pocket offer places to securely store useful kit close to hand. A really versatile all-round outdoors jacket for cold weather use.

Great Coat & Perfect Fit, 06 January 2015
By Johnny_D (Sheffield)
I am a BIG fan of Berghaus and as soon as I tried this coat on, it just felt right and fitted perfectly.
It has a great inside pocket that is zipped, along with two outside large zipped pockets. The coat is very warm and cosy, without being too warm and claustrophobic, like some insulated coats can be. The hood is also a great design and keeps out the rain and stormy winds with a good tall and effective design.
I always expect high standards with Berghaus as they've never failed me yet with previous buys. I believe they have produced a great coat with the Vinson and I'm extremely pleased with my purchase.
Excellent Winter Jacket, 03 January 2015
By Hemis (Peterborough)
An excellent all round jacket keeps you warm and dry no matter what the weather.
I've only ever worn a t-shirt underneath and have been kept very warm. In particular when you seal the wrist straps and tags around the waist no draughts get in.
I've worn it in light rain and suffered no leaks, and today was out in a full downpour walking around the woods for over an hour in pouring rain and was kept bone dry. The great thing is the water just runs off or beads up, so when you come to take the jacket off a quick shake means all excess water is quickly got rid of meaning drying time is greatly reduced.
All in I am extremely pleased with this jacket and would highly recommend it, and for the price Go Outdoors is offering it at it really is a no brainer.

Looks like a very nice jacket - well made with good seams etc.
Unfortunately the sleeves were a little too short for me so I returned it.

Bought this jacket for winter walking in the Lakes. After a 10 mile walk on a cold windy day my base layer was soaked. The jacket had kept the wind out but I was very Disappointed with the Breathability. Does not live up to the hype re Breathability

Great jacket. Had a little trouble with the zip at first but seems to be fine now .
I use it mainly for walking my dogs. Keeps me really warm even in the cold weather despite it's very light weight.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it
