This fleece jacket has proved itself to be completely versatile whether as an integral lining and third layer to the excellent Mera Peak waterproof jacket, or on its own in dry but otherwise cold and windy conditions.
A stylish design with good pill resistant material means it looks good as a outer jacket and its deep pockets, elasticated wrists and hem, and high neck provide tailored comfort. Another excellent product from Berghaus.

I had been looking for a reasonably priced winter-weight fleece for a while, and when this one came up at this price I snapped it up!
It has excellent warmth-weight ratio, fits properly (snuggly; unlike a few other "top brands") and has the usual Berghaus build quality even after a few washes. Could do with an inner zipped pocket, perhaps.

This fleece was recommended to me by a friend for an expedition and I was so glad that I bought it. It is incredibly warm, lightweight and comfortable. The range of colours also meant that everyone on our expedition could wear one without us looking identical!
The full zip is brilliant, I've had previous ones that have just instantly broken, and the pockets that it has are spacious.
However I would prefer a few more pockets, but if it is worn with a jacket then that problem will be solved.
Definitely the right fleece to buy.
