The Aquafoil® fabric is DWR treated,
breathable enough to stop you getting clammy when you're running
around, and durable enough to take any light snags and scuffs in it's
stride.
With the perfect combination of low weight, high performance and durability, it's ideal for those who want all-year-round protection from the elements.
Please note: the newer models of this jacket do not feature the pull-toggles for the hood, instead there is a neater velcro adjusting strap to keep the hood tight and in place.

Ok jacket but very good for price, 25 December 2011

Keen Walkers and Climbers, 2 of my daughters have this jacket, we have been up the mountains in all whether this jacket has performed well overall the AQ2 is a good waterproof material that has not yet failed, However the jacket has no hood adjustmet on the lower ages and you may have trouble puting the hood up and down with the jacket done up, when we have used the jacket on mountians on 1 occation we have had to secure the hood down with a buff on the outside of the jacket to stop it blowing off. A big bonus with this jacket is that it has a draw string in the waist so you can secure it down in windy weather not all kids jackets have this. Material has not seem to scuff when rubbed on rocks, climbing. Last thing if you do go for this jacket try it on as the sizing is very small and in 1 case we needed to go 2 sizes too big. I hope this is a help
