The 'pore' like technology in GORE-Tex allows your skin to breathe, so as you walk and raise a sweat, you won't feel it in your jacket.
The Glissade 2 IA is also IA, or interactive, with zip and hook-points which allow you to clip in a Berghaus Fleece for even more warmth and insulation on colder days. You could try the Berghaus Spectrum Womens Fleece or the ultra-warm Berghaus PolarPlus Fleece, or your existing favourite Berghaus midlayer.
The Glissade benefits from a roll-away hood that can be easily accessed for quick protection from any sudden downpours.
The waist and hem drawcords add to the jacket's draught-proofing and can be tucked under the hem of the jacket so they don't catch or snag.
As with many Berghaus jackets, there's a rain-protected map pocket at the chest because the last thing you need is a set of soggy directions. 2 outer pockets are secured with zips that are firm and sturdy so nothing falls out, with enough space for small essentials.

my jacket arrived just in time for the return of the snow it is everything it says waterproof and lightweight just returned from the school run still dry even though i was stood waiting for ages
