The Berghaus Deluge Men's Waterproof Overtrousers are ideal for any outdoor lover who wants protection from rain, sleet and snow, without excess weight.
Lightweight yet effective, the Deluge Overtrousers are designed using Berghaus' very own Aquafoil technology (AQ) ensuring they provide hardwearing protection from winter weather over your existing activewear trousers when you need a waterproof cover which is fuss free.
Wear them over your everyday trousers for the walk home in bad weather, or wear them over a pair of baselayer tights in Winter for extreme protection as part of the layering system.
Articulated knees allow for freedom of movement, while upper leg venting and 3/4 length side zips encourage ventilation to keep you dry and comfortable.
The elasticated waist and 3/4 side zips also mean they can be pulled on or off with ease.
As well as the protection that Aquafoil offers, they are DWR treated, so the outer level of the fabric won't get saturated in a downpour and any moistness is drawn away from the skin.

I bought these in case I got caught out in the rain and to keep walking during the wet seasons. Excellent item, very easy to put on over boots as they have a 3/4 leg zip and press studs. You can leave the zips open for ventilation which is great. Roll up pretty small and get strapped to my rucksack for quick access. Overtrousers or waterproof trousers is a personal choice but as a waterproof overtrouser I would definitely recommend these.

I bought these for a three peaks challenge i was undertaking in October and have to say that they are superb.
Suffice to say, it poured for the majority of the challenge but my trousers underneath remained dry the whole time.
They feature both pop buttoms and zips for breathability and comfort and do not feel restricting when worn overtrousers.
My only mistake was buying the small length, so definately do try on over trousers for correct fit.

I was immediately impressed with these Berghaus Deluge Waterproof Overtrousers the first time I wore them walking 2 miles with the dog to a friend’s house in the pouring rain. They are very easy and quick to put on, in my case, over jeans and chunky walking boots. I really liked being able to just button up the trousers and leaving them unzipped for a bit of air, so as not to feel uncomfortable as I put on a brisk pace. They were equally as easy and quick to take off at the front door when arriving at friends house. I bought them primarily for camping/backpacking, but my first experience with them was in an urban area. The colour and style made these the ideal Overtrousers for me as they blend in nicely with all Environments. A friend recommended them to me, and I would recommend them to any one wanting to get maximum usage from a quality product whether it be in the sticks or on the streets.
