Berghaus' InterActive system means you can zip in a compatible Berghaus fleece, such as the Berghaus Spectrum, to add further insulation on those colder winter days.
Useful features like the easily-accessible OS map pocket, lined collar and adjustable cuffs make your day on the trail easier, while an adjustable, stiffened roll-away hood makes for easy access to protection from any sudden downpours.
A contemporary looking, hardwearing, and lightweight jacket, the Cornice is perfect for hiking in adverse conditions but is equally at home in urban environments.

Never been drier, 26 August 2011
By Jon (Bedford)
I bought this coat for a holiday and because you can never trust the weather during our summer. I can honestly say that it is completely waterproof. I walked the dog in it last week and it kept me drier than any coat I've had in the past despite the torrential rain and the shaking of a wet dog. Go buy one, it is worth the money.
Outstanding quality jacket from Berghaus, 24 March 2011
By Phil (Dundee)
At first I thought this is a lot of money to pay for a waterproof jacket, how wrong I was. This is an outstanding jacket worth every penny.I have worn it several time now in all weather conditions and it has never let me down. One thing I would recommend is that in severe cold weather you should attach a Berghaus IA fleece.Other than that I would recommend this cornice jacket to anyone.

As you would expect from Berghaus - Quality!, 23 December 2010
By Paul (Sheffield, Soth Yorkshire)
I recently replaced my old, sadly departed Berghaus jacket with a new slightly longer Cornice 2 IA waterproof jacket. The timing couldn't have been any better with the recent artic conditions that we all find ourselves in. Its snug fit around the neck is ideal in the biting winds and it clearly has become my second skin, ensuring my core remains comopletely dry. Adding my waterproof trousers too I'm so happy and more importantly DRY. I cannot find any fault at all and would fully recommend this garment to anyone.
