Berghaus Choktoi Pro jacket combines the durability of GORE Windstopper® Soft Shell with the warmth of GORE Windstopper® Fleece for
superior protection from the cold and exceptional warmth for long days in the outdoors.
Taking full advantage of
GORE Windstopper® technology, the Choktoi Pro provides excellent protection on those extra-cold but dry winter days when a shell is not necessary.
Reinforced panels on the shoulders and hips make it
perfect for use with a rucksack on those day long hikes. A
deep, snug neck and an elasticated hem will keep cold out and heat in, while pit zip ventilation keeps you cool during periods of high aerobic exertion.
The ergonomic design means that you can move your arms around to all angles without losing coverage on the wrists, so you can
stay draught-free even when climbing.

A very good jacket that will shed a small shower and keeps the wind at bay. Have been caught in a few small showers with this and it's shrugged them off with no ingress of water. The back could be a little longer for the taller/longer frame so that draughts cant make there way up the back. This is pretty easy to resolve with a quick adjust of the hem drawstring but when you bend down it can still ride up the back. The material is pretty hard wearing and will easily shed off branches and the like without much if any damage. The zips on the arms are a great feature but would prefer them under the arm pits as well. Only gripe is the lack of colour choice....would love it in red and gray combo.
