Calisto Womens Waterproof Jacket

I bought a Berghaus having originally had to rely on a Regatta £10 jobby to keep me dry on long hill walks and becoming wet through to the core on a few occassions. From the Berghaus, and for the money paid for this jacket, I was expecting a very much more breathable jacket, one that both kept the rain from my skin yet let it breathe at the same time. I noticed a complete change to how I felt walking through the downpours whilst wearing this jacket compared to the Regatta. Although working up a sweat, I found that this jacket kept me 90% dryer than the Regatta had. I'm positive that if I had a little more money to spend I may have been 100% dry after the walks, but for a £60 jacket I was satisfied. I have worn this jacket nearly every day since I bought it, as it is handy to wear in the English weather to commute as you never know when a shower is going to hit and, for this reason, I think it is a very good buy indeed. It covers all bases, it is good for hill climbs, dale walks and commuting, what more could you want from a jacket?! I do find it quite cold however, so if it is going to drop to below say 5 degrees then I would still recommend wearing a jumper underneath if walking a significant distance, but altogether a very good all rounder and I'm pleased with my purchase.
