Features
A super-lightweight, breathable and waterproof shell for any wet weather outings.
The
Berghaus Bowscale Jacket is made from ultra light, extremely breathable 2-Layer GORE-TEX Performance Shell fabric, which provides a total shield from wind and rain, despite it's meagre bulk.
The Bowscale's 'active' cut and sleek silhouette make for a stylish, no-frills but very efffective shell that will keep you dry and comfortable in a storm.
The GORE-TEX Performance Shell fabric actively wicks any moisture vapours inside the jacket (such as perspiration and condensation) out through the fibres and away from the wearer, meaning you'll be dry and comfortable inside and out even in the worst weather.
The stashable hood can be adjusted for a perfect custom fit while you're on the move, and the adjustable cuffs and hem let you completely seal out draughts and wet.
- Adjustable, stashable hood
- Two zipped handwarmer pockets
- Internal zip pocket
- Adjustable cuffs and hem
- Embossed lining

A Great Lightweight Jacket, 22 March 2013
By Maverick (Exeter, Devon)
This Jacket is yet another brilliant product from Berghuas. It is light to wear but totally wind and water proof and it feels nice and soft with minimal rustling. I have worn it in some pretty miserable weather and it works excellently. It is not designed to be worn in the hills during the winter but as an autumn / spring / summer coat it takes some beating. I have worn it locally on top of a base layer and fleece in lower country and it is brilliant but I would not use it for Dartmoor / Exmoor in the Winter months. The pockets are huge and there is an internal zipped one for security uses. The hood is easy to get a good fit althuogh I feel the peak is a bit on the soft side for strong wind. For use in Spring/ Summer or Winter on lower ground this jacket takes some beating.
