Features
A modern boot offering a synthesis of materials for durability and stability. Suitable for hiking, trekking or hill walking.
The Asolo Flame GTX boots are built to perform, and built to perfection. From the water resistant suede outer, combined with high tenacity nylon as well as a GORE-TEX® comfort lining, every element of the material has been analysed to provide the best walking boot yet.
The sole itself has been created in Matrix (Rubber-EVA) with Active Heel Support, or AHS.
This provides both heel control and shock absorption. Engineered with double injection technology, the Active Heel Support (AHS) is reinforced, which provides lightweightness, support and shock absorption.
The grippy sole is almost unrivalled in holding power, great for Ben Nevis or steep inclines.
The Lite 2 Anantomic footbed make these boots robust and dynamic, all at the slender weight of around just 643g per boot.
The Asolflex 400 Gold Lasting board provides stability and hold, whilst the GORE-TEX® inner liner ensures your feet stay dry and offers optimal heat retention in a wide range of conditions.
The water resistant upper is made with quality suede leather, so water underfoot simply beads away.
The
Asolo Flame GTX are the ultimate choice in protection, quality and comfort for any hiker.

Asolo GTX Mountain boots, 04 October 2011
By Mick (Yorkshire)
I bought a pair of these boots to do the National Three Peaks in and can honestly say they were superb. Just one tiny blister on my little toe and completely dry feet even after heavy rain and sleet on Snowdon, would definateley recommend, Only four stars because I have had comfier boots but may break in a bit more yet,

Excellent boots, extremely comfortable from day 1. Did 10 peaks in the 2 days after I bought them, put them through just about every condition apart from snow. Found to be waterproof in boggy conditions and sturdy in rocky conditions. Extremely comfortable even from new. My second pair of Asolo boots, Well impressed for £80.
Worst boots ever, 19 May 2011

Had 3 pairs of these boots in 18 months, they keep leaking, last pair only lasted 4 months before they let in water, never had blisters before i bought these boots but after 1 day had blisters on both heels, after 6-7 hours of walking big toes and forefoot become extremely sore, not comfortable at all, bring back my cheap berghaus boots, they lasted 10 years and were brilliant. Dont buy these boots.
