A large inflatable tunnel tent for six that takes hardly any time to pitch. Perfect for camping weekends with family and friends.
Hi Gear Airgo Solus tents are inflatable, pole-free tents with individual inflation points on each Air Tube. It's an incredibly quick pitching system that results in a sturdy, rigid tent that still has enough 'give' to cope with strong wind (premium Airgo tents have a single inflation point for all tubes, making for an even quicker ‘all in one’ pitching tent). Airgo Solus tents also use a lighter flysheet material than premium Airgo tents.
The Airgo Solus Horizon 6 Tent has a simple, spacious tunnel layout with a bedroom, a large living area, big windows to give it a roomy feel and let light in, and a sheltered front porch/entrance area that's ideal for storing gear or lounging in a recliner.
Pre-attached luminous guylines help you to keep the tent stable in windy conditions, and are easily visible in low light (especially on a crowded campsite).
There are additions to the Horizon 6 available, to make your camp even more comfortable. The Horizon 6 Carpet makes it feel more homely by adding underfoot softness and warmth, and the Horizon 6 Footprint will insulate and protect the floor (and make pitching the tent even easier).
- Comes with Airgo pump, steel tent pegs, guyropes attached
- Standing height, roomy sheltered living area - more than enough space for a table and chairs
- Ideal for families and weekend camping

1st trip was good set up and packed away well. 2nd trip was a nightmare because the poles twisted so it didn't sit right. It took ages to sort out. Went to Devon for for a week and got caught in 50mph winds. Bent in the middle and was not good in high winds. Too top it off the beams ended up bulging and we had to take the tent back under warranty. Have come to the conclusion that air beams tents aren't there yet and I would not buy one again but if you did buy one buy one which has a beam down the middlle for extra support. Also it takes as long to set up as a pole tent which defeats the object. Personally why bother.
Update on my review from July, 01 September 2016

After a very successful camping trip to the dales as a trial in July we have just returned from Cornwall.
The tent was epic and withstood a 2 day storm with winds gusting to 40 mph. At one point the middle of the tent bent in half but as soon as the wind gusted it popped straight back to normal. I put more air in the beam job done.
It rained for three days solid and not a drop inside. Still very happy with this tent, well worth the money.

Airgo Solus Horizon 6 Tent, 19 July 2016

Bought this as an upgrade to a pole tent last week. Took it for a shake down weekend just gone locally as a trial for a two week holiday later in the year.
As it was a trial run took all the gear, for a full two week holiday. All fitted no problem including me, wife, two boys, the dog and her cage. Loads of room in the bedroom (took the divider out) for all of us and gear no worries.
Clearly this tent has been designed by someone who actually camps, well laid out and appointed. It rained all day Saturday and there is plenty of room to dry us all out after a walk then play board games/eat etc. Porch is mint and made a big difference to be able to cook/sit under cover in the rain while not having to stay inside.
Very good quality material that looks and feels like it will run the course with the kids.
Very happy, so much so I filled this in which, I wouldn't usually do
