my sealskinz socks leaked after 3 uses but I did not go back to Go Outdoors due to problems in the past and thought is was just not worth bothering with!!!

I Bought these socks with the intention of keeping them in my bag and using them if I stepped in a bog or stream by mistake - I would dry my feet and put these on. On my third outing with the socks in my Bergen I slid into the River Exe and got wet feet so I used them long before I had expected to. I was really impressed, they do feel a bit odd when you first wear them but you get used to them in no time at all. I did not expect them to breathe as well as a normal sock - but they do!! they keep the water out and they let your feet breathe very well. they have a Merino wool content in them and this helps with pongs and also feels very comfortable. I really was impressed with the performance of these socks and My partner is now going to get a pair. I fyou walk all year round I would highly reccommend getting a pair of these brilliant socks they really will look after you well.
